At Plympton Academy the formal teaching day ends at 3.00pm, and we have a lunch break between 1.00pm and 1.40pm. This gives us time to host a range of extra-curricular activities, both on-site and at other venues.
We are proud to offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities and we encourage all students to take part in one or more of them.
We believe that school life is deeply enriched by taking part in these activities. They offer a chance to make new friends, learn wider skills, develop deep knowledge and represent the school in sport and other areas.
We are pleased to announce our programme of extra-curricular activities, starting from Tuesday 22nd September 2020. We have worked hard to ensure that our programme meets current guidelines and as a result all activities will take place in year groups. This means that some activities are being offered to year groups on a rotation basis throughout the academic year.
We will be adding to the programme over the next few weeks including a Year 7 Minecraft club and a variety of performing arts based clubs.
The programme will be updated regularly and will be posted as an announcement on ClassCharts.
