Art and Design

You have an Independent Learning Task sheet that you can choose activities from that relate to our current project. This is on Classcharts and email. You can also visit www.tate.org.uk/kids/games-quizzes for lots of fun Art related games and quizzes.   We also encourage you to create your own Home Art. If you would like to Tweet your work to us you can do so between 3pm and 4pm each week day @plymptonart or email pictures to your Art teachers at any time. We will be setting you an optional 30 Day Drawing Challenge that is great for you to keep up your drawing skills. Lots of Classcharts points are up for grabs if you participate in these activities!

Core PE

Students already have access to their Google Classrooms (a reminder of the codes below) which is where they have previously taken their end of semester online tests.  In their google classroom there is a powerpoint where students have a number of suggested tasks and challenges to encourage them to stay healthy and active during this period.  All the tasks are designed to cover the Knowledge, Skills and Character pillars to reflect what is taught in the Academy covering the PE curriculum and have been selected so that either no or minimal equipment is required.

English

Students will make use of their knowledge organisers from semester 1, 2 and 3 to complete tasks.  These will be set through classcharts. Their main focus will be ‘Of Mice and Men,’ War Poetry and Victorian Literature. Further support will be provided through the google classroom (one classroom set up for each class and shared with students already via email).
