How to Apply
Level 3 Pathway
Students attending 6th Form@PA benefit from specialist teachers who provide a broad and balanced curriculum. The majority of students will study three subjects which can be a combination of A Levels and Level 3 BTECs. Entry requirements for the Sixth Form include the basic 5 grade 4s across all GCSE subjects which must include a grade 4 in either GCSE English or Mathematics. There are also individual entry requirements for individual courses; for detail please refer to the prospectus.
Level 1 or 2 Pathway
Students who prefer a 'hands on' approach to learning, and to whom the Level 3 pathway is not appropriate, can join us for our vocational pathway. Students attending our vocational route will benefit from work experience as well as specialist training at sites across the city. This pathway does not have formal entry requirements, however performance at GCSE will inform whether a level 1 or 2 pathway is more appropriate in some instances. Similarly, whilst there are no academic requirements, we ask that students demonstrate both good attendance and behaviour record during their Year 11 studies. Toe find out more about the subjects on offer, take a look at our vocational prospectus.
